The Role

The Digital Designer is responsible for design and pre-production of digital projects for email, website, social and app creative. You will leverage your expertise by merging technical proficiency with artistic flair to craft visually captivating and functional digital experiences. The Digital Designer has a keen eye for aesthetics and an understanding of UX principles, allowing them to design websites, mobile apps, user interfaces, and multimedia content that resonate with target audiences. In an ever-evolving digital landscape, you must stay informed of emerging technologies and design trends to consistently produce innovative and engaging solutions.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative director, designers, e-commerce managers, digital marketing manager, copywriters and brand managers to create digital marketing assets, weekly website updates, new development mockups, and email asset designs.
  • Partner with IT and e-commerce teams on Roadmap Planning.
  • Lead UI/UX for all new digital initiatives.
  • Adapt quickly and maintain accuracy through frequent website updates and promotional changes.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the photo studio to request image assets.
  • Ensure all websites, emails, and communications meet current ADA and SEO standards.
  • Work closely with the website copywriter on blog management .
  • Research and stay up to date on best-in-class design, digital marketing best practices, and creating a world-class guest experience across all digital channels.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic/Web Design
  • 4+ years experience in retail, design studio, creative agency or freelance
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design tools
  • Experience with Salesforce and Amplience is a plus
  • Exceptional prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation abilities
  • Portfolio demonstrating a passion & mastery for digital design
  • Highly collaborative and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Passion for retail and knowledge of the Altar’d State family of brands
