This position will require an energetic and customer service-oriented individual to provide the best service when dealing with individuals at all levels of the pyramid./ppA day in the life/pulliCapturing and reporting departmental data and results to ensure proper reflection of departmental performance/liliCommunication with internal and external customers via email and phone to ensure prompt response to issues/liliSupport managers and assistant managers with administrative tasks and other projects/liliIdentify and research, problems and expedite solutions to ensure smooth, continuous work flow/liliDemonstrate a commitment to teamwork through relationship-building and collaboration/liliDeliver productivity through the efficient use of time and a commitment to strong results/liliMaintain and update all reports relating to the Labor Management program/liliAssisting with equipment and supply tracking and distribution (i.e. radios, scanners, etc)/liliMonitor transportation KPIs (on-time performance, trailer utilization, load accuracy, etc.) and escalate trends to leadership./liliExperience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred (e.g., Manhattan)/liliCoordinate with carriers, vendors, and logistics partners to resolve discrepancies, delays, and service failures./li/ulpYou own this if you have.../pulliTransportation experience recommended/liliProficient with Microsoft Office/liliExperience with freight pay and bill pay/lili6+ months distribution and/or fulfillment center work experience./liliDemonstrated basic understanding of distribution and/or fulfillment center operations and workflow./liliGood written and verbal communication skills/liliIntermediate PC skills, with an emphasis on MS Excel/liliAbility to learn new tools rapidly and independently/liliWell-developed time management and organizational skills./liliAbility to deliver excellent customer service attitude and to work as team player to accomplish daily objectives/li/ulpWeve got you covered/ppOur employees are our most important asset and thats reflected in our benefits.
