CSR / Veterinary Receptionist

We care for you.Position Overview We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, Veterinary Receptionist to join our great team. Someone willing to go the extra mile, giving clients and their pets the best experience. The Customer Service Representative / Receptionist contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital. Key Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations. Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments. Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being. Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products. Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts. Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records. Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions. Qualifications (Required) High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience Working experience in a high paced office, phone skills, and great communication, and computer skills Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Prefer someone with receptionist experience in veterinary/animal or medical field to offer our clients the best customer service experience. Experience with Avimark software a huge plus. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese a huge plus. Schedule: The customer service team works 30 to 40 hours per week, 8-10 hour shifts during the week and have a rotating schedule to work weekends. We are open Mon/Tues from 8am-6pm and Wed/Th/F from 9am- 5pm Must be able to work every Saturday from 8am-5pm We currently have one open full- time position, we may consider part-time for the right candidate.
