Food Service DirectorCedar Haven Healthcare Center is seeking a Food Service Director for our skilled nursing facility in Lebanon, PA.As a Food Service Director, you are responsible to direct, evaluate and monitor the staff assigned to your department, including issuing disciplinary actions as necessary and performing probationary and annual evaluations of employee performance.Shift Available:Full-TimeResponsibilities include:Run day to day operations within the departmentManage food service employees - scheduling, hiring, performance managementPrepare meals in accordance with planned menus and make only authorized food substitutes.Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet ordersReview care plans as necessary to assure that the resident's dietary needs are being metProvide nutrition counseling with assistance from registered dietitianWork as part of the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth operation within the facilityQualifications:Must possess Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certificationCertified Food Protection Professional (CDM,CFPP) certificationMust be a previous Dietary Director, meeting the requirements established by the State Regulatory Agency.Previous long-term care experience is desirable. Prior experience in Geriatric Food Service preferred.
