Segmentation Designer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and Design Surgical Proposals: Create and finalize designs for total knee replacement (TKA) using CT images, CAD models, and product drawings, adhering to standardized work instructions.
• Cross-Training: Gain expertise in multiple departments to enhance versatility and support diverse project needs.
• CT Image Analysis: Optimize product designs by analyzing patient CT images and collaborate with case management coordinators to prioritize proposals and designs based on customer demand.
• Quality Assurance: Review and release previously designed image segmentation, proposals, and models to ensure high-quality standards.
• Concept Development: Assist in developing concepts under the supervision of Product Development Engineers and contribute to special projects as needed.
• Task Management: Maintain a schedule of deadlines and tasks, effectively prioritizing to meet project timelines.
• Team Collaboration: Utilize strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in team-oriented project groups.
• Initiative and Self-Management: Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently.
• Feedback and Mentorship: Provide constructive feedback and mentorship as required to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• A.S. or B.S. in Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
• 1 year of design experience with Unigraphics/NX/CAD/CAM/AutoCAD systems and advanced design applications is preferred.
• Proficiency in three-dimensional modeling and PLM software is preferred.
