*As a School Occupational Therapist (OT), you will: *
* Provide occupational therapy services to students in pre-K to 6th grade based on their individual education plans (IEP).
* Supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to ensure quality care.
* Perform professional assessments of students’ developmental abilities and progress.
* Offer recommendations for OT interventions to help maximize students‘ learning potential.
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop effective IEPs.
* Travel to multiple campuses to perform evaluations or provide services as needed.
*Qualifications for this School Occupational Therapist (OT) role include: *
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
* Master’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
* Prior OT experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
* Occupational therapy licensure in the state of California.
* Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
