Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring full-time Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Concessions Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading team members to provide exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities 
  • Schedules team member duties and assists manager with training and compliance
  • Reviews work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety
  • Ensures proper POS, cash handling and tip record-keeping for the shift.
  • Investigates and resolves complaints regarding food quality, service and accommodations
  • Perform some service tasks such as assisting guests, stocking shelves, counting inventory, and cashier duties
Qualifications 
  • Restaurant experience required with two years of supervisory experience in front of house environment preferred
  • Self-motivated to work without direct supervision, embrace challenges, opportunities and  initiate projects
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, POS and cash handling skill
  • Proven ability to implement and enforce procedures and rules while directing team members
  • Must maintain excellent customer service and staff relations with a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a faced paced environment
  • No college degree required
Physical Requirements 
  • Required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Will stand and walk throughout shift with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and grasping and frequently reach over head up to 7 feet
  • Push and pull movements on occasion to move equipment and use of mops and brooms
  • May be exposed to normal dangers found in kitchen environment, such as cuts, scrapes, burns and scalds
  • Some work may be required outdoors in varying temperatures including cold, wind, rain and heat
