Position: Senior Product Project Manager
About the Role:
As a Senior Product Project Manager at NetGroup Engineering, you'll play a pivotal role in leading project teams within Group Trucks Operations (GTO). You’ll manage teams of 10 to 15 professionals focused on key operational areas such as Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Quality, and Production.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Project Leadership: Guide your team(s) in achieving commitments on Quality, Deliveries, and Costs. Ensure alignment with the Volvo Product Development Process and GTO’s product and industrial strategies.
- Resource Management: Define and secure necessary resources for your projects in collaboration with team members and their managers.
- Budget Oversight: Establish and manage project budgets effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the GTO representative in cross-functional project teams, advocating for GTO requirements and reporting on project deliverables to benefit our customers.
Who You Are:
We’re seeking candidates with:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant project management experience, with a track record of successfully driving projects from initiation through to implementation.
- Certifications: PMP certification is a plus.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with SAFe Agile, DVP (Volvo Product Development process), and VPS (Volvo Production System).
- Operational Experience: Experience in operations is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, coordination, written, and verbal communication skills. Proven expertise in risk and change management.
