Rental CoordinatorWheeler Machinery Co. is seeking a Rental Coordinator for our Salt Lake City, UT location to effectively rent Caterpillar and allied equipment. This full-time benefited position will be responsible for facilitating the rental and sales needs of current and prospective customers. The incumbent will possess the ability to multi-task, remain extremely organized and be able to develop relationships with both internal and external customers.Duties & Responsibilities:Rental customer activities: receive and make calls, answers questions, quotes rates and sale pricesAssists customers choose correct equipment models and sizes for application and jobsite requirementsMaintains proactive / creative attitude to increase rental sales activityEnsures accurate and timely rental transactions: setting rental rates, invoicing, insurance verification, machine, and work tool configurationSchedules / coordinates equipment transportationUpdates rental transactions and contract information in Dealer Business SystemCoordinates / schedules maintenance and repairs with Service DepartmentInvestigate and resolve customer issues with equipment deliveries, repairs, billing and other related itemsAssists outside Sales Representatives as necessaryEnsures that safety practices are a part of everyone's daily routineRequired Qualifications:Math, reading, writing, and typing skillsFlexible with the ability to perform a wide range of tasksMicrosoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
