This includes graduating from an accredited program AND a certification from one of the certifying bodies below:Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the provider.Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain clinical supplies.Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection.Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and provide patient education.Ensure compliance with clinic policies, OSHA, HIPAA, and other healthcare regulations.Collaborate with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver coordinated patient care.Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program required.Must hold one of the following active certifications:Current CPR/BLS certification required.Previous experience in a family medicine or primary care setting preferred.Excellent communication, organizational, and patient service skills.Experience using EPIC a plus
