Job Title: Cloud Engineer Location: Atlanta, GAJob Summary: We're seeking a Cloud Engineer I to support the technical operations of global broadcast playout services. This role involves hands-on work with cloud infrastructure, automation systems, and broadcast technologies to ensure uninterrupted content delivery. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar). Support multi-channel playout automation systems and media workflows. Perform remote troubleshooting using SSH, Telnet, or RDP. Monitor and configure control systems for broadcast reliability. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for system optimization. Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, and system diagrams. Track and resolve incidents to maintain service levels. Must-Have Skills: Basic IT Networking (IP configs, traceroute, general networking knowledge). Basic understanding of cloud technologies (preferably AWS). Experience in remote troubleshooting (SSH, Telnet, RDP). Nice-to-Have Skills: Intermediate/advanced networking, SAN, or relevant certifications (CCNA, AWS Certified, etc.). Familiarity with firewalls, routers, Active Directory, and load balancers. Knowledge of MPEG-4 encoders, Transport Stream analyzers, or satellite transmission equipment. Experience with broadcast automation systems and digital measurement tools.
