1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 4:00am - 2:30pm

As the Maintenance Technician IV, you will ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in good, safe working order. What you‘ll do on a typical day:

  • Perform necessary preventive maintenance on a timely basis with adequate recordkeeping
  • Repair and maintain conveying systems, production machinery and packaging equipment
  • Install, dismantle, repair, reassemble and move machinery as required to maintain effective production
  • Repair or replace broken and/or malfunctioning components
  • Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
  • Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you‘ll need:

  • 2 years of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of electronics and computer programming to repair machinery
  • PC experience (PLCs)
  • Availability for on-call support as required by team‘s rotation schedule

It‘d be great if you also have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and/or vocational technical school or on-the-job training
  • Solid organizational skills and proven ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
