Product Director In Data Product Strategy And Execution DirectorAs a Product Director in Data Product Strategy and Execution Director, Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB), you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams to create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.As a Director in the CIB CDAO team, you will be critical to helping us develop and execute on our data product strategy that will drive our analytics agenda across all of our businesses. You will be recognized as a thought leader within the field of data product strategy and execution.Job ResponsibilitiesOversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targetsLeads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growthCoaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectivesOwns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectivesMonitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiationPartners with CIB businesses to understand analytics priorities and data requirementsCollaborates with firmwide teams in the development of data governance standardsDevelops a commercial, pragmatic data strategy for the CIB, focusing on building the most reusable, high-value data productsSocializes and secures buy-in for the data strategy with C-Suite leadership and data SMEs across businessesWorks with businesses on inventory and delivery roadmaps for data productsDevelops KPIs to track progress and success of data product initiativesIdentifies and advances new cross-business opportunities enabled by data productsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications10+ years experience working in data related rolesExtensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analyticsProven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementExperience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functionsHands-on experience in data strategy development and execution in large corporationsExperience in developing data productsExperience working with our businesses on the inventory of data products and delivery roadmapsAbility to develop a set of KPIs to allows us to track progressAble to identify and forward new cross-business opportunities enabled by data productsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsRecognized thought leader within a related field
