Sr. Director, Supply ChainIn this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and optimize our supply chain operations, ensuring flawless execution and driving world-class performance. As the Sr. Director, Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in our ambitious growth strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine and successfully implement supply chain strategies that enable us to compete in a rapidly evolving market.Responsibilities:Lead and oversee all aspects of the supply chain function, including planning, logistics, and distribution.Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.Optimize inventory management processes to minimize costs while maintaining high service levels.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and streamline supply chain operations.Collaborate with team members from different departments to ensure that supply chain activities are in line with the overall business objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and robust supply chain network.Apply proven strategies and widely accepted methods to improve supply chain efficiency and stay ahead in the market.Lead and nurture a supply chain team that consistently demonstrates strong teamwork and innovative thinking.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Equivalent experience in the industry will also be considered.At least 10 years in supply chain management, with increasing levels of responsibility.7+ years of leadership experience and the ability to inspire and empower a diverse team.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels.Consistent track record of effectively leading projects and achieving successful outcomes.Extensive understanding of supply chain principles, proven strategies, and evolving trends such as capacity planning.Proficient in using supply chain management software and systems, ASAP a plusAt Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
