A specialized ultrasound technologist role is available in the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM)/High Risk OB department, supporting advanced obstetric diagnostic imaging. This contract position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities. Location:Based in Franklin, WI, this opportunity supports the Maternal Fetal Medicine department at a leading medical center in Kenosha. The region provides a blend of suburban comfort and access to urban amenities, making it ideal for professionals seeking a balanced lifestyle near the scenic shores of Lake Michigan. Responsibilities include performing a full range of obstetric ultrasound procedures such as first trimester scans, nuchal translucency, anatomy, growth monitoring, Dopplers, biophysical profiles, fetal echocardiography, transvaginal ultrasounds, and invasive procedures like amniocentesis and chorionic villi sampling. You will expertly select equipment settings and transducer types to ensure high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Additional duties are maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment, documenting studies and billing codes, and contributing to department quality assurance measures. The role also involves educating sonography students, residents, and medical students, positioning and transporting patients safely, and providing age-appropriate patient care. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Minimum of one years experience specifically within a Maternal Fetal Medicine or High Risk OB ultrasound setting Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in OB/GYN from ARDMS Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers Strong knowledge of fetal abnormalities and diagnostic protocols Proficient in anatomy recognition and sonographic evaluation across different anatomical areas Skilled in patient communication and interdisciplinary collaboration Familiarity with computers and electronic medical records This contract opportunity offers a focused schedule and a chance to work with advanced fetal imaging in a supportive, specialized clinical environment.
