Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
  • Direct the daytoday functions of the nursing assistants
  • Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shift's services
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
  • Provide leadership to nursing personnel in your unit/shift
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered
  • Maintain good working relationships with interdepartmental personnel
  • Ensure personnel follow safety regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident care information
Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
  • Current Illinois Nursing License (Required)
  • Current CPR certification (Preferred)
