About Us: We at H&P Executive Search are partnered with a private equity fund specializing in upper mid-market investments, particularly in technology and software sectors. As part of their growth strategy, they have recently established a private credit vertical to enhance their investment capabilities.
Position Overview: This role will focus on direct lending, distressed credit, and opportunistic credit investments within the tech and software sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwriting: Perform detailed underwriting of potential credit investments, assessing risk and return profiles.
- Investment Analysis: Conduct due diligence and financial analysis on potential investments in direct lending, distressed credit, and opportunistic credit.
- Deal Structuring: Assist in structuring and negotiating private credit transactions.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage existing credit investments, ensuring compliance and performance.
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and developments in the technology and software sectors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the private credit and private equity teams to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in private credit, ideally from a large-cap fund.
- Skills: Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
