We understand that taking care of our customers and our staff is critical to our success.If you are a positive and hardworking individual who is looking for great working environment, year round work, and a position that will have positive impact on others then USA Insulation might be the place to build a career.Position SummaryTimely, efficient and service oriented individual to be part of a crew to install insulation in homes or businesses throughout Kentucky and Tennessee.To install foam insulation in walls of existing homes or businessesTo install spray polyurethane foam into walls, ceilings, basements, crawl spaces or other parts of a home or businessTo install loose fiberglass insulation or batt insulation in walls, attics, crawl spaces or other areas of the home or businessTo install ventilation and other peripheral products in homes or businessesTo perform other services as directed by the foreman or Owner/OperatorEssential FunctionsAbility to work in attics, basements and crawl spacesAbility to work in extreme cold and extreme heatAble to work on ladders (up to 28')Able to work with hand toolsAble to count and handle moneyAble to work with drills, pumps and all equipment necessary for installing insulationMust keep home/business clean during and after installation (inside and outside)Educate customers on service and installation featuresPride self on high quality installations and do the job right the first timeProvide all customers with excellent customer serviceFollow all policies and procedures of USA Insulation while on dutyPerform any and all other functions or tasks assigned by the crew chief and Owner/OperatorStatus & ScopeMust have valid state driver's licenseNon-negligent drivers recordMust be able to read and writeMust be able to manage customer paperworkMust be able to speak EnglishPhysical exam (275 lbs. weight limit in working clothes and safety gear)Able to lift and move up to 80 lbsInstallers must possess good organization and verbal communication skillsQualificationsNo "insulation" experience required, however preferredCommitment to Customer ServiceWorking knowledge of siding, home building, drills, pumps and hand toolsAbility to troubleshoot product and installation problemsUse of EquipmentDrills, Truck, Hand Tools, GPS, Pumps & Equipment and siding toolsTravel RequirementsMore than 30% local daily travel required (more than 30%, within 2 hour radius normally)Lifting RequirementsHeavy Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 50 poundsPhysical DemandsPhysical demands of this position include: constant bending, pushing, reaching, seeing, speaking, walking and standing, frequent hearing and climbing. Frequent means activity is usual and customary part of the essential functions of the job.
