Description Springpoint Senior Living, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional for our Sr. Financial Analyst role Springpoint Senior Living, Inc., headquartered in Wall Township, NJ is in search of an experienced accounting professional for our Sr. Financial Analyst position. At Springpoint, the Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for the administration of the annual budget process for all SSL facilities and supporting analysis, and also for insuring the accurate and timely processing of financial statements and information. While this role is advertised as Senior Financial Analyst, candidates must possess a strong accounting background, including experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will combine financial analysis expertise with a deep understanding of accounting principles Responsibilities: Coordinates and administers the budget process by preparing the budget files for the budget rollout, working closely with the Executive Directors in gathering the information to complete the annual budget process, and preparing analyses to support the information contained in the annual budget for assigned each facility (LPC’s & Housings). Prepares all monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and schedules as set forth for the completion of the Financial Statement Package as established by the CFO and the VP of Finance, and publishes those financial reports required for the Board book, budget Board book and financials for the Bank. Prepares monthly salary wage analyses for the internal MOR & completes the monthly Analytics package for distribution to the Executive Director at the LPC community. Reviews all financial information with each facility’s Executive Director and/or Administrator on a monthly basis and attends the monthly financial meetings held at facility or via conference call. Completes the Board Book schedules for the quarterly and budget Board reporting. Completes the June and November DCA submission requirements and updates FINAID for the new entrance fee and monthly service fee rates. Reviews and reconciles census files, daily, to the census dashboard. Performs internal audits on Resident Bills (quarterly) and Entrance Fees (annually). Resident Assistance Fund (RAF) Program: reviews the application process, preparing monthly reconciliations, and providing status of recipient applications. Provides information to the outside Consultant for the completion of the annual Medicare cost report questionnaires. Provides the necessary information for the actuary data request from CCRC Actuaries that is needed for the Resident Tax Calculations and completes the required Homestead State of NJ filing. Prepares 5-year projections for the LPC’s for Management as part of the Springpoint Board requirement. Completes the Recurring invoices for assigned SSL communities. Education and Experience: B.S. in Accounting, MBA or CPA Preferred 3 to 5 years in General Accounting, Financial Reporting required Working knowledge with the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow Proficiency in MS Office Products including intermediate to advanced skills in Excel including proficiency with graphs, MS Word and MS PowerPoint Experience with Management Reporter reporting software, Solver software for budgeting and reporting and Great Plains accounting software preferred Comprehensive Benefits Package (Full Time): Medical/Dental/Vision/Rx Plans Paid Time Off and Holidays 401(k) with Company Match (Once Eligible) Life & Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Voluntary Benefits (including DailyPay) Employee & Resident Bonus Referral Programs Employee Assistance Program Wellness & Wellbeing Programs Tuition Reimbursement Professional Development and Career Opportunities Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 / year ** This is a hybrid position, with a minimum of 2 days working in office.
