Remote Role (East Coast hours preferred)
Our client, a leading investment management firm specializing in equity-focused portfolios is seeking a Portfolio Implementation Consultant with 3-5 years of direct experience in the investment management or asset management space, with a focus on equities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Charles River Development (CRD) systems, particularly on the trading side. This role involves implementing portfolio manager instructions, generating orders, and ensuring compliance with existing codes. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement portfolio manager instructions and generate orders for multiple accounts.
- Utilize Charles River Development (CRD) systems, specifically the order blotter and new manager workbench.
- Ensure compliance with embedded codes within the CRD system.
- Manage day-to-day business operations, ensuring portfolios closely follow the model.
- Handle cash flow needs, investment orders, and tax harvesting for retail SMA accounts.
- Collaborate with various teams, including operations, legal, compliance, traders, and portfolio managers.
- Apply changes to account models as directed by portfolio managers.
- Maintain strong communication with wealth managers and sponsors.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of direct experience in investment management or asset management, with a focus on equities.
- Hands-on experience with Charles River Development (CRD) systems, particularly on the trading side.
- Strong understanding of order management and compliance within CRD.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of Excel is required; Bloomberg experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with portfolio implementation or as an investment specialist.
- Familiarity with tax-sensitive retail SMA accounts.
- Experience working with wealth managers and sponsors.
Additional Information:
- This is a remote position, but candidates must be able to work East Coast hours.
- Occasional travel to the Boston office may be required.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
