Drayage Manager

JBAndrews is currently collaborating with an industry leading organisation within the Building Products industry to identify a Drayage Manager. The ideal Candidate will have Member Experience, Supply Planning, and Middle Mile Logistics and will manage team members responsible for the day-to-day execution of member deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for the business with their last mile providers and will play a pivotal role in leading all relevant relationships, business awards, and contracts.
• Support end-to-end transportation processing and tracking from booking to final delivery on international shipments.
• Create and communicate the last mile forecast based on cost and performance.
• Coordinate with all carriers, forwarders, and other related service providers to review service performance and make continual improvements to meet evolving business needs.
• Analyse data trends to highlight potential opportunities for improvement within transportation process.

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience and knowledge in the freight forwarding industry
• Experience in LCL Ocean Cargo logistics and documentation
• Knowledge of general freight forwarding terms and standards; working knowledge of import and export transportation
• Proficient knowledge of world geography, import documentation, and Incoterms.
• SAP experience preferred but not required
