Lead Supplier Fulfillment LeaderAt GE Aerospace, the Lead Supplier Fulfillment Leader has ownership of supplier relationships and supplier on-time delivery. In this role, you will need to understand the manufacturing process and customer need while utilizing operational data and commercial awareness to proactively drive supplier execution of on time delivery. You will execute value stream management (total WIP health & sub-tier management) in partnership with suppliers to meet customer needs, eliminate constraints, and increase productivity. As The Lead Supplier Fulfillment Leader, you will gain an in depth understanding of customer needs through interactions with clients across the GE organization; listen well and ask probing questions to obtain voice of customer; conduct research, collect data, and analyze information to define and prioritize customer needs and use this information to drive supplier partnerships.Roles and Responsibilities:Develop relationships and partnerships with suppliers to promote shared accountability and successOwn key performance indicators (KPI) of On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Delinquency (DQ) reduction for multiple large and medium suppliers and product linesExecute on commercial and delivery strategyRecognize (safety, quality, delivery, commercial, compliance) risks and opportunities at supplier via communication rhythms and supplier visits to assess impact to GEInfluence suppliers through strong relationshipsEmploy knowledge of manufacturing processes to eliminate specific constraints (operational & systemic)Leverage understanding of production control to close operational gaps with owned suppliersPartner with cross functional teams when additional expertise is neededManage priority management across customers to satisfy requirements/demandsAggregate information and is the single voice of messaging to the customerUtilize Lean tenants AND tools to identify and eliminate waste in a processRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Materials, Sourcing, Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Quality and/or Supply Chain role)At least an additional 3 years in a Materials, Sourcing, Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Quality and/or Supply Chain roleDesired Characteristics:Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learnTransparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructivelyFocused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committedLeadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborativeProblem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinkerExperience documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programsEstablished project management experienceThe base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $145,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
