Our client, a leader in fire protection products, is actively looking for a Fire Alarm Technician for the Amesbury team.

Role Summary: Fire Alarm Service Technicians are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and fixing Fire Alarm systems and associated interface equipment. This person will perform both routine inspection, scheduled repairs, and service calls.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine service and maintenance tasks on fire alarm systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. This includes inspecting, testing, cleaning components, and verifying functionality.
• Address issues with fire alarm systems. Troubleshoot and repair faulty components, wiring, and equipment.
• Provides customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
• Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.

Education, Licensure & Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• NICET Level II Certification preferred.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience in fire safety industry.

Knowledge, Skills, Capabilities:

• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the FLS industry.
• Knowledge of NFPA code requirements
