Hematology/Oncology Opportunity - Palm Beach, FL Medical Center s physician group is seeking a medical Oncologist board certified or board elgible in Hematology and Oncology. The incoming physician will be joining a group of 4 surgical oncologists and 2 radiation oncologists. Medical Center is building a state of the art cancer center located next to the hospital. The Cancer Institute is expected to open at the end of this year. The center will provide access to multidisciplinary, evidence based care such as that found in the nation s most prestigious health care institutions. With four surgical oncologists employed by client, they are looking to find a medical hematologist/oncologist that can practice in a clinical environment but also serve in a the role of building relationships and being the face of medical oncology at the hospital. The goal is to create an inhouse referral stream. The plan is to hire one Med Onc and then grow an employed medical oncology group from there. Oncology Highlights: Program is accredited as a comprehensive community cancer program by the Commission on Cancer 4 surgical oncologists breast, gynecologic, GI and Thoracic 2 radiation oncologists Nurse navigators Clinical research State-of-the-art infusion suites will be located in new center Expanded genetic testing Survivorship program Cutting edge radiation technology CyberKnife Electron Beam IntraOperative Radiation Therapy (e-IORT) TrueBeam radiotherapy system Candidate Parameters/Specifics: General hem/oncologist Comfortable working in a collaborative, clinical environment Willing to attend hospital events and build relationships to grow the program Board certified/board eligible in hematology and oncology Sub-specialty interest in GI oncology Some experience preferred Financial Package- Medical Oncology The incoming physician will be employed by client Basics of financial package $400,000 annual base salary plus bonus based on quality and performance measures Hospital benefits: 401K, Paid time off, CME allowance, health and dental insurance Sign on Bonus Relocation package Production model based on Work RVUS-
