Seattle, United States Krekow Jennings Inc Full time

Krekow Jennings invites you to join our team as a Project Estimator. Our Estimators serve a key role in transforming our customers’ visions into reality. As an Estimator, you get to lead transformations by creating a construction project strategy which fulfills customer and designer goals and expectations. A successful construction project strategy is then converted into a construction contract.

Our Estimators do much more than measure, count, multiply and add. To be successful in this role, you will have construction experience as a commercial or large-scale residential Project Manager or Superintendent.

About Krekow Jennings

For over 40 years, Krekow Jennings has been fulfilling dreams by building works of art that our customers live in and around. We are well-connected to the elite residential design and construction sector in the Seattle area and San Francisco Bay Area.

At Krekow Jennings, we view ourselves as craftspeople who interpret someone else’s vision. As builders, our task is more about perceiving than it is about conceiving. We do not invent the what, but we often have to invent the how. Our team members work with some of the highest quality finishes and subcontractors in the industry.

As a General Contractor, we deliver value through transparency, accountability, fairness, and an eagerness to take on assignments that others cannot approach. This is made possible by our staff that lead with high expectations for safety, craftsmanship, integrity, and creative problem-solving.

  • Tailor budget development approach to specific project, team, and client needs, presenting the budget to its various stakeholders.
  • Compile and maintain historic cost database via project post-mortems

  • Ongoing estimating activity, including fully detailed estimate prior to contract
  • Provide a total project duration to the project manager.
  • Provide occasional input for the project management team based on the estimate provided

Skills:

  • Ability to develop conceptual estimates with little or no subcontractor input
  • Network with professional contacts and owners to help obtain job prospects
