This role will handle customer relationships, account performance, and be focused on selling and growing accounts that are not assigned to another commissioned salesperson. This associate will primarily interact with customers via Teams, phone and e-mail.This is an hourly pay role, with a variable pay component/commission based on gross margin dollar growth from previously established baseline on assigned accounts.Position DetailsLocation: Onsite at our local branch in the Eastern CarolinasSchedule: Monday through Friday, between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PMResponsibilitiesDevelop relationships with assigned accounts to influence sales and margin growth within our service and product offeringsProvide personalized customer service through timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectivesBe an expert on our strategic product offering and servicesServe as the sales representative handling customer needs ranging from quotations and orders through post-delivery supportBe a creative problem solver with the ability to understand and resolve customer issues quickly and efficientlyQualifications2-5 years of prior sales and/or customer service experience is preferredExhibit a highly motivated customer service-oriented mentality with ability to build long term relationships focused on salesAbility to react well in a fast-paced environment, follow through on commitments, work independently, and set self-motivated goalsProven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely mannerRequires excellent communication, time management, problem solving, and organizational skills with a high-level autonomy and decision-makingWorking knowledge and understanding of company products and services necessary for successThis is a commission eligible role.
