CNA/PCA- Summerville

Work close to home while making a difference in the lives of those you’re helping.  Palmetto Family Homecare has an immediate need for Caregivers, Personal Care Assistants and CNAs for Full-Time and Part-Time positions in Summerville  areas.

As a member of the Palmetto Family, you are not only providing home care, but you are developing relationships and making a difference in the life of your client and their family.

We have IMMEDIATE HIRE for the following positions: 

• Monday- Friday 9am - 1pm 
• Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm 
• Monday- Friday 2pm-7pm 

Responsibilities vary from client to client, as everyone's needs are different. These needs are outlined in the client’s individualized care plans. We do our best to pair our caregivers with clients they feel comfortable providing care for. Duties can include, but are not limited to:

• Assistance with various Activities of Daily Living duties (bathing, dressing, and grooming, etc.) depending on the level of care of the client.
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Appointment management & reminders
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Assisting with ambulation as needed
• Medication assistance
• Offer companionship and conversation
