Please upload the following items with your application: Copy of Driver License Copy of Social Security Card Copy of Lifetime Driving Record Copy of signed application release form (Click link below) You can view the VIP Manual at the below listed website, prior to completing the VIP application: VIP ManualPasco County Fire Rescue Administrative Reserve consists of volunteer opportunities within the following areas of Pasco County Fire Rescue.Training DivisionChaplains (non-denominational)Administrative functions (assigned out of Headquarters)Cadet - The Fire Cadet program is open to young men and woman ages 14-21 who want to learn about the fire service through hands-on, practical and classroom evolutions. Under the guidance of the members of Pasco County Fire Rescue, Cadets will learn all aspects of emergency services, from training and day-to-day operations to fire tactics and emergency medical care. After completing a training program, Cadets will be able to ride-along on the fire apparatus.Additional release forms, background check authorizations, and parental consent forms may be required prior to the first day of volunteer activities. As the requirements may differ from job to job and Division to Division, all activities will be at the discretion of the Chief, Lead or Supervisor for that specific job or Division.Training Division Reservists may be required to supply certifications to engage in activitiesChaplain Reservists may be asked to supply Credentials to the Lead ChaplainCadets- will have to follow all rules and regulations set forth by the Cadet Corps.Administrative Functions- may be required to supply proof of past experience or certifications to perform certain job functionsThe minimum age for VIP applicants for this department is based on the position. The minimum time requirements for each Reservists position are listed below. Failure to fulfill the minimum time requirements may result in dismissal from the Fire Rescue Reserve Program.Training Division 10 hours a monthChaplains As directed by Lead Chaplain (on-call basis)Administrative functions- 10 hours a monthCadets- As set forth in Cadet Corp. Rules and RegulationsSome Reserve positions may require a physical prior to starting. Applicants will be notified of the need for a physical during the onboarding process.
