About the Role:

  • Execute complex and critical engineering tasks with high efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and/or review control system and instrumentation specifications, location plans, equipment/instrument schedules, datasheets, and other essential documents for designing, procuring, installing, configuring, and operating I&C equipment and devices.
  • Complete various assignments including drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
  • Prepare, review, and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
  • Coordinate activities and deliverables with group leads and other engineers and designers within the I&C discipline on the project.
  • Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and junior engineers working on the same project.
  • Interface with other engineers, engineering disciplines, and departments.
  • Program and configure control system equipment.
  • Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials, review supplier drawing submittals, and perform technical bid analyses.
  • Support the commissioning and installation of field equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Typically 8+ years of related work experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is not required but is desirable.
  • Work at the site and from corporate engineering offices as required. Occasional travel to a secondary site (
