Use Your Words, P.C. specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication providing evaluation and therapy to individuals ranging in ages and abilities.

We provide a refreshing sense of hope and progress to many patients who struggle to find the knowledgeable support they need in this area.

Although Use Your Words specializes primarily in AAC, we provide services to a variety of patients to sprinkle in that extra spice of life for our therapists and to help all who need it.

We LOVE working with families.

We LOVE staying up to date on the latest information and techniques through continuing education to be the most knowledgeable providers for our patients.

We also LOVE technology and utilizing all kinds of tools to open access to people and the world for our patients.

This is a part-time position with potential for a full-time transition. Strong background in Augmentative and Alternative communication as well as assistive technology is preferred, but we are willing to train.

*Responsibilities*

- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Provide speech therapy services to patients with a variety of disorders
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Implement and monitor progress based on treatment plans
- Utilize standardized and non-standardized testing to evaluate patients
- Offer case management support to coordinate care plans effectively

*Requirements*
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

- State licensure as a Speech Therapist

- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence C.C.C. or CFY eligible

- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and adults

- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction

- Ability to work effectively in role independently and with other team members
