ExecuSource has partnered with a reputable pediatric private practice in Sandy Springs, GA in search for a Clinical Operations Manager. This candidate can be an RN or LPN with leadership experience, within pediatric preferred but not required. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Physicians. The Clinical Operations Manager oversees the efficient functioning of the back office, ensuring adherence to established office protocols and procedures. This role involves hiring, training, and managing clinical staff to optimize patient flow and maintain quality care standards.
What you get to do:
- Train and supervise clinical staff to ensure adherence to clinical policies and procedures. Provide initial and ongoing training, including occasional retraining as needed. Conduct evaluations and provide feedback, with input from physicians.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain efficient patient flow, particularly during employee absences due to vacations or other reasons.
- Manage physician schedules in Greenway, blocking out time for vacations, rounding, etc.
- Manage EMR templates, making necessary edits and creating new ones with physician input.
- Complete the clinical schedule weekly to ensure appropriate coverage for physicians, including assigning late-night shifts for after-hours coverage.
- Monitor phone nurses to ensure accurate documentation and provide assistance or retraining as necessary.
- Ensure clinical staff completes necessary tasks such as GRITS, room cleaning and stocking, and forms completion.
- Oversee lab operations to ensure compliance with CLIA standards, including equipment maintenance and contract negotiation.
- Manage medical supplies, vaccines, and pharmacy inventory to ensure appropriate levels are maintained.
- Ensure office compliance with OSHA standards, including annual training and updates.
- Oversee compliance with Vaccines for Children (VFC) requirements and manage vaccine and medical supply ordering.
- Monitor clinical staff timecards for accuracy and compliance with clock-in/out procedures and PTO tracking.
- Assist with updating office policies and procedures as needed, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Conduct monthly meetings with physicians and the Practice Administrator.
- Attend relevant meetings and training sessions to stay current on industry developments.
- Act as a liaison between the practice, physicians, patients, and vendors, promoting a cooperative and caring environment.
What you need to succeed:Nursing degree, minimum
- Valid RN or LPN license
- 3-5 years supervisory experience
- Reliability and dependability in daily tasks.
- Proficiency in using Greenway Prime Suite and other necessary software.
- Consistent adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient and caregiver interactions.
- Attention to detail in record-keeping and organization.
