Client location and schedule hours:

Client is located in the Bellevue area . Monday to Saturday 10 am to 4 pm

Job Responsibilities:
ADL's:                                                                                                                                                                     


Mobility:  Client  normally uses a walker to get around and can pull self up to a sitting position, but needs help swinging her legs to the side of the bed and standing.  Client  is weight-bearing but once standing, needs a minute to gain equilibrium before taking steps. Client  needs assistance getting into and out of a car.    Toileting:  Client  normally toilets independently and likes  privacy.  Client  wipes herself but may need help, so just ask her. 


Eating:  Client  is a very light eater. She feeds herself, but is very picky and will often only eat a few bites at at time.  She needs meals and snacks prepared and served and for Caregiver to be creative in what they offer her. Being excited about each meal or offering to get her either her favorite foods or to go to a restaurant for her may also encourage her to eat more. She drinks 1-2 cups of coffee around breakfast every morning, but needs to be  reminded to drink her water often.  Caregiver needs to keep a running grocery list and shop for her as needed, offering healthy food options. 


Bathing:  client  normally gets a shower independently.  This should be offered to her daily.  Katie brushes her teeth independently when caregiver reminds and brings supplies to her.        Dressing:   She can choose her own clothes & shoes.  


Engagement:  Client  is highly intelligent and likes good conversation, but sometimes also likes to be left alone to watch tv or call friends or family.  She does like a direct communicator.


Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA or related experiences with a loved one of family member
Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language 
Valid Driver's License and adequate auto insurance
Consent to criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle and sex offender background checks
Consent to drug and alcohol testing
TB test
