Esthetician

Overview: As a Licensed Aesthetician, you are responsible for delivering exceptional skincare and beauty treatments to our clients, utilizing your expertise to enhance their overall well-being. Our Licensed Aestheticians should possess a strong background in medical aesthetics, a commitment to providing personalized services, and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends.

Responsibilities:

1. Skincare Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their skincare needs, medical history, and treatment goals.
2. Customized Treatment Plans: Develop personalized skincare treatment plans based on individual client assessments, incorporating medical-grade products and procedures to achieve optimal results.
3. Aesthetic Procedures: Perform a range of advanced aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, and other non-invasive treatments.
4. Collaboration with Medical Professionals: Collaborate with our medical team to ensure seamless integration of medical and aesthetic services, providing a holistic approach to skincare.
5. Product Knowledge and Sales: Stay informed about the latest skincare products and technologies, and educate clients on proper at-home skincare routines. Recommend and sell medical-grade skincare products as appropriate.
6. Client Education: Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care, potential side effects, and realistic expectations for various aesthetic procedures.
7. Maintain Cleanliness and Safety: Adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and sterile environment for all treatments.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and post-treatment follow-ups.
9. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with medical spa protocols.
10. Payment Handling: Process client payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
11. Product Sales: Assist clients with product inquiries, provide information on skincare products and services, and facilitate product sales.

Other Tasks as Needed:

1. Assist the Front Office Staff
2. General office cleaning, including restrooms
3. Update, verify, organize and count inventory of retail items
4. Other miscellaneous tasks as requested by management

Qualifications:

1. Must hold a valid Indiana license as an aesthetician.
2. Proven experience in a medical spa or dermatology setting with a focus on advanced skincare treatments.
3. Additional certifications in advanced aesthetic procedures (e.g., laser therapy, chemical peels) are highly desirable.
4. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively explain complex procedures and skincare regimens to clients.
5. Strong customer service orientation, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for clients.
6. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
