Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.ResponsibilitiesProvide daily operational oversight and leadership for revenue cycle activities and resources.Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.Interface with outside vendors regarding denial managementProduce reports measuring financial and operational performance including, but not limited to, cash collections, unbilled, denials, volume trends, contract yield, evaluation of predictive models with actual results, financial performance analysis, benchmarking and trend analysis.Set and adhere to project budgets and timelines.Provide frequent status updates, reports, and project summaries to administration and supervisors whose departments are influenced by projects.Strong understanding of professional billing workflows, CPT/HCPCS codes, modifiers, and payer policiesHands-on experience with billing systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, or similar).Ability to identify root causes of denials and lead teams to implement sustainable solutions.Strong skills in interpreting data, creating reports, and presenting actionable insights to stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authorityRequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred.
