Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Analyst to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606, with a particular focus on non-dues revenue streams such as sponsorships, advertising, and service contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical accounting principles and experience interpreting complex contracts. Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606. Apply GAAP principles to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting. Track and reconcile non-dues revenue sources, including sponsorships, advertising, and service agreements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports and forecasts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Operations) to ensure revenue recognition compliance. Assist in month-end close activities related to revenue, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries related to revenue recognition. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance revenue tracking and reporting efficiency. Maintain documentation of revenue recognition policies and procedures. other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or financial analysis. Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and GAAP. Experience with non-dues revenue streams is highly desirable. Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compensation: $80,000 -$95,000 NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance. NAR is on a hybrid schedule and in the office 3 days a week.
