Operations Specialist IILocation: For Those Who Work At Home, GeorgiaJob Summary The Operations Specialist II is a mid-level role responsible for managing insurance compliance for a designated portfolio of commercial mortgage loans. This position requires independent analysis of insurance documents, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and oversight of escrow disbursements and casualty loss claims.Essential FunctionsAnalyze insurance policies, appraisals, and operating statements for complianceMaintain accurate insurance data in the servicing systemManage escrow disbursements and force-placed insurance processesEnsure adequate insurance coverage for non-escrowed loansAdminister casualty loss claims, including inspections and disbursementsCommunicate with borrowers, agents, and insurers to resolve issuesCollaborate with internal departments to address discrepanciesPerforms other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without noticeComplies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.EducationBachelor's Degree (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required)Work Experience1+ years of commercial property insurance or related experience (required)Legal document review and interpretation (required)Commercial loan servicing or insurance agency experience (preferred)SkillsEvaluates insurance policies and documents for regulatory and loan-specific requirements.Manages servicing tasks for commercial mortgage portfolios.Oversees disbursements and force-placed insurance for escrowed loans.Handles inspections, documentation, and disbursements related to property damage claims.Reviews and interprets legal and insurance documents independently.Maintains precise insurance data in servicing systems.Utilizes spreadsheets and documents for analysis and reporting.Interfaces with borrowers, agents, and insurers to resolve issues.Manages multiple deadlines and shifting priorities effectively.Works with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.Applies strong risk culture in decision-making and compliance.Identifies and supports improvements in operational workflows.Understands and evaluates servicing systems and data flows.Delivers high-quality service aligned with customer-centric values.Executes responsibilities with precision and accountability.Core CompetenciesAll KeyBank employees are expected to demonstrate Key's Values and abide by Key's Code of Conduct.Physical DemandsGeneral Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.Work Location CategoryHybrid (2+ days)Compensation and BenefitsThis position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $20.19 - $30.77 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
