Job Summary Chloeta is seeking a highly skilled Professional Engineer (PE) to provide technical expertise, project leadership, and professional engineering services across a variety of projects. The Professional Engineer will be responsible for overseeing project planning, design, analysis, and implementation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as client and company standards. Job Classification: 1099 Independent Subcontractor Duty Station: Remote/Virtual Travel: Up to 10%, Contingent upon business needs Duties/Responsibilities Leads and manages engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met. Prepares, reviews, and approves engineering plans, specifications, drawings, and technical reports. Ensures all designs and deliverables comply with applicable codes, regulations, and professional standards. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, technicians, and project staff. Conducts site visits, inspections, and assessments to support engineering analyses and project execution. Collaborates with clients, stakeholders, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions. Reviews contractor submittals, respond to RFIs, and provide construction-phase engineering support. Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and technical documentation for projects. Required Skills/Abilities Proficiency in engineering design software, modeling tools, and related technologies Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building standards is a plus Strong mathematical skills for engineering calculations and cost estimations Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other mapping tools Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Required: Minimum of Three (3) years of professional engineering experience. Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc. Ability to work in office and field environments Ability to travel to project sites About Chloeta Chloeta is a Native American owned enterprise providing a diverse range of engineering, scientific, and technical solutions to support military, energy, homeland security, emergency preparedness, and critical infrastructure requirements.
