Since 2009, the company has developed over 50 career programs, trained and up-skilled more than 95,000 individuals across the country and partnered with over 500 American job centers and more than 1,000 healthcare organizations to build talent pipelines.The Accounts Receivable Specialist is challenged with overseeing daily A/R functions while promoting and maintaining accuracy of assigned student revenue channels.General Duties And Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Ensure accurate data entry, coding, and allocation of student invoices for assigned revenue channelsCreate early invoices as requestedSubmit invoices on external partner's websites as requiredResolve any invoice discrepanciesPerform day to day financial transactions such as processing and monitoring incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and proceduresResearch unidentified payments and process accordinglyIdentify accounts that require adjustments and send to AR ManagerProcess student cases on a weekly basisReconcile revenue for assigned student channels monthlyIdentify accounts that require adjustments and execute accordinglyConduct payment reconciliation on accounts as neededAssist with collections on outstanding accounts receivableProvide outstanding customer service regarding email requestsKeep AR Manager informed of activities and any significant issuesAssist the AR Manager in the ongoing process aimed towards identifying and decreasing outstanding accounts receivables and reconciling the student deposit accountPartner with other AR staff members to cross train as necessary and build a cohesive teamCreate processes and procedures specific assigned student revenue channels as neededSpecial projects and tasks as directedParticipate in regular staff meetingsRequired Qualifications:Associates Degree or 3 years of training in accounting and billingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficient in Excel and Microsoft Office ApplicationsHands on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce experience a plusAbility to work in a team-based environment, but also be a self-starter and work independently on assignments.Adequately handle multiple demands calmly and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail and follow throughWorking Conditions:This is a remote position in which work will be completed during normal business hours (approximately 8:30am - 5:00pm).Compensation And Benefits:MedCerts, a Stride, Inc. company, considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. We anticipate the salary range to be between $47,075.25 and $64,641.20. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus.
