As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will have a diverse range of responsibilities and opportunities to make a difference in the lives of residents:
- Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members
- Evaluate and develop appropriate skilled plan of care
- Document daily resident participation with skilled treatment sessions
- Instruct resident's family or nursing staff on current functional level
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
Some of the QUALIFICATIONS required for the Occupational Therapist (OT) position include:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Current and in good standing discipline-specific state license
- One (1) year experience in Skilled Nursing Facility and/or Long Term-Care preferred
