With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.The Platform and Devices Engineering Infrastructure and Operations (PDEIO) Fleet Infra Software team powers the software solutions that sustain the lab infrastructure supporting three major platforms within Device and Platforms: Android, Chrome and ChromeOS. The customers also extend into Pixel, Extended Reality (XR), WearOS, Android Auto and TV. The team mission is to enable a fleet infra that's reliable, resilient, efficient and elastic for Android, Chrome and ChromeOS.Android is Google's mobile operating system powering more than 3 billion devices worldwide. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.Responsibilities:Lead the outlook, strategy, and prioritization across the area of Android test execution and orchestration, exercising an understanding of test infra directions and associated architectures.Manage a group of Software Engineers working on Android test execution and orchestration framework, fostering their growth and career development.Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders on Android/Aluminium/Pixel and Platform and Devices Engineering Infrastructure and Operations (PDEIO) engineering teams, collaborators within PDEIO infra teams, and partners across Google (e.g., Core) on test execution and orchestration-related topics, acting as a liaison with technical insights.Drive innovation across team on infra reliability, efficiency and scalability improvements.Lead the team in cross-PDEIO infra convergence efforts.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
