Township Treasurer

HELP WANTED: Township Treasurer: East Fallowfield Township, Chester County (population 7,626) is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and self-starting individual to serve as Township Treasurer. The Township has a total annual budget of approximately $5 million. The Treasurer will be responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the Township’s financials. Applicants will also perform bookkeeping, banking, and payroll services. The candidate should have experience working with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook and be proficient with QuickBooks accounting software.

Minimum three years experience in accounts payable and annual budget data preparation preferred. Previous municipal government experience strongly desired. Background, credit checks and ability to get a surety bond required. The Treasurer must be able to attend monthly board meetings, communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships.

The position is full-time. Annual salary from $90,000+. Comprehensive benefits package offered for full-time employment.
