Retail Key Holder, Valencia, #781BevMo by Gopuff is seeking a Part Time Key Holder for our Retail Operations team. This position is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing other duties in the absence of management. A Key Holder will assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees, providing excellent customer service while driving sales.Responsibilities:Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of the products and servicesArrive early to open the store and leave late to close the storeWill assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employeesKnowledge of in house products to provide customers with recommendationsAssist with inventory management tasks such as restocking merchandise, conducting inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies.Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits.Operating scanners, cash registers, and other electronicsFollow proper age verification policiesEnsuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a customer receiptProcessing refunds and exchangesMonitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including conducting bag checks and ensuring adherence to security procedures.Store cleanliness and assist in maintaining standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathroomsTrain new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standardsQualifications:1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experienceAbility to work with fluid schedules; be available during peak hours of operation and availability to support stores on nights, weekends, holidays, etc.Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handlingTeam-oriented mentalityAbility to lift up to 49 poundsHigh School Diploma or equivalentPay:Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. Compensation for U.S. locations is based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area.Valencia, CA: $17.65The salary range above reflects what we'd reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
