TeamHealth is seeking an experienced and compassionate psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) to join our post-acute behavioral health team caring for residents across five skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in the Overland Park, Kansas, area. This is an opportunity to do meaningful work with a schedule and support structure designed to help you thrive both personally and professionally. What Makes This Role Different Predictable Schedule: Monday through Friday, providing care to an average of 15 patients per day; no nights or weekends Clinical Autonomy with Support: You manage your patients; we'll handle the rest; our clinical and administrative teams are there to support you so you can stay focused on care Growth and Stability: Join a national organization recognized for its clinical leadership, innovation, and commitment to provider success Rewarding Compensation: Compensation is fee-for-service (FFS); expected compensation is estimated salary range of $135,280 to $160,336 with no cap on productivity income potential What You'll Do Deliver high-quality psychiatric care and medication management to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings Collaborate with facility teams to develop and oversee individualized treatment plans Provide follow-up and continuity of care that enhances mental wellness and quality of life What You'll Need Active PMHNP license in Kansas with the ability to practice and bill independently DEA license in Kansas Excellent diagnostic, communication, and documentation skills A passion for improving the mental health and well-being of older adults Discover a role where your work makes a measurable impact and your schedule supports the balance you deserve.
