TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Dialysis RN in Largo, Maryland, 20774 Pay Information $2,160 per week About The Position Job Title: Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 20:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required; will accept first-time traveler with strong dialysis experience License: Active RN license in the respective state Certifications: BLS, CPI, NIH required; ACLS preferred; CDN preferred Must-Have: Ability to cannulate AV fistula, ability to float to various units within the hospital Description: Inpatient Dialysis RN position available. The role requires a minimum of 1 year experience in dialysis nursing. Responsibilities include providing both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments. Nurses will function in a small department with 6 beds, floating to multiple inpatient specialties as needed. The average daily census includes 15-20 patients on hemodialysis and 2-3 patients on peritoneal dialysis. Common diagnoses include acute renal failure, acute kidney injury, and end-stage renal disease. Procedures will involve manual-gravity peritoneal dialysis exchanges and hemodialysis using portable equipment. On-call shifts will be scheduled, requiring flexibility in hours. Nurses are expected to work every other weekend. Candidates must be comfortable floating within various units without restrictions. Professional references are required for the application process.
