This role ensures the safety, reliability, and compliance of all structural assets with engineering standards, WMATA protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements. The engineer plays a key role in maintaining the structural integrity of the Metro system through detailed assessments, issue resolution, and continuous field monitoring.ResponsibilitiesPerform field inspections of structural assets.Document findings and recommend corrective actions.Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams.Support emergency response and repair planning.Ensure adherence to WMATA safety protocols.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.7+ years of field inspection experience.PE license preferred.Familiarity with transit infrastructure and inspection technologies.Salary: $90,000 - $110,000BenefitsM&J is a leader in providing quality engineering consulting services to a diverse and exciting client base.
