Real Estate Asset Management Summer InternshipAt Manulife John Hancock, we believe in investing in the future starting with you. Our Real Estate Asset Management Summer Internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world investments while providing the support, structure, and development opportunities you need to grow your skills and launch your career.This internship sits within our Global Wealth & Asset Management (GWAM) team and provides experience across a diverse real estate portfolio, including assets in pre-development and value-add stages. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals and gain insight into asset management, acquisitions, and investment decision-making.Position Responsibilities:As a Real Estate Asset Management Intern, you will:Support the asset management team in overseeing a diverse portfolio of real estate assets, including pre-development and value-add investmentsAssist with communication and coordination among property managers, joint venture partners, and brokersReview property performance reports and help track key operating and financial metricsContribute to the preparation of internal summaries, presentations, and responses to data requestsSupport the evaluation of new investment opportunities, including acquisition analyses across various risk profilesParticipate in due diligence activities alongside senior team membersAssist with financial modeling efforts, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and rent roll reviews, under the guidance of experienced analysts and managersRequired Qualifications:Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's program with an expected graduation date between Winter 2026 and Spring 2028Finance, Economics, or Real Estate majors preferredMinimum cumulative GPA of 3.0Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skillsUnderstanding of real estate and finance concepts preferredExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWhen You Join Our Team:We'll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.We'll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.As part of our global team, we'll support you in shaping the future you want to see.As part of our internship program, you will gain early access to Manulife John Hancock's premier early talent program, GRO, tailored to graduating students This program is designed to launch your career with the support, structure, and opportunities you need to thrive.Application Instructions:Please submit a resume, cover letter and most recent transcript (unofficial transcripts are accepted) in one PDF fileCompany: John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A.)
