Location: Gulf Coast Medical Center - 13681 Doctor's Way Fort Myers FL 33912 Department: Trauma Services - Support Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/ to Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.04 - $25.05 / hour Summary Trauma Registrar's primary responsibility is to assure that complete and accurate data is collected and maintained for all trauma patients diagnosed and/or treated at Lee Health Trauma Center. The Trauma Registrar must work with all trauma-related departments within the system to ensure complete inclusion of all appropriate patients. RequirementsEducation:High School Diploma required. One year of formal training beyond high school, completion of HIM program preferred. Experience:Minimum of two years of HIM and/or CPC/RHIT experience required. Certification:Trauma Registrar Certification within two years from date of employment. License:N/A Other:Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Anatomy. Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of EPIC and Trauma One preferred. US:FL:Fort Myers
