IT Technician IIBanner Health is currently seeking an IT Technician II responsible for providing at-the-elbow support in the Greeley, Colorado area. As an ideal candidate, you would have past IT desktop support experience, be a self-starter, a team player, and eager to learn and perform. In this position you will interface with other information technology team members, as well as employees, leaders and physicians on a regular basis to support information technology needs.In this role you may be required to travel to different Banner locations while working a typical Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule with occasional schedule flexibility necessary. The primary focus is to ensure customer satisfaction for all IT activities and support services. Acts as a resource in documenting issues, problems and concerns in regard to IT resources, tools and systems. This position demonstrates technical knowledge of infrastructure and communications processes and supports system defined objectives relative to the company's business and healthcare requirements. Interacts as part of a team and can support some company Information Technology infrastructure, networks, hardware and applications. May provide cross coverage for Help Desk, Desktop Support or Audio/Visual teams.Core Functions1. Maintains knowledge of standard work routines, equipment and day-to-day activities and/or routines. 2. Maintains current professional and technical knowledge relating to the healthcare industry by attending educational workshops/conferences, establishing personal networks, and/or maintaining relevant certification or licensure as business needs require. 6. Takes high level responsibility for selected information systems. Performs work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment where there may be conflicting priorities or tight deadlines. Has decision-making authority for projects and applications and works at peer level across diverse areas and multiple states. Participates in meetings, presentations, visioning sessions, strategic and planning sessions, implementation activities, and supports functions company-wide.Minimum QualificationsAssociate's degree or two years of related experience in Information Technology is required. Must be proficient and technically adept in the use and operation of a wide range of desktop, mobile devices and network connectivity. Knowledge of Microsoft Office O365 applications is required. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and interact with various levels of customer and support groups. Requires communication and presentation and organizational skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across all services and at various levels. Must have knowledge of Information Technology in a fast-paced environment. Requires exceptional communication, both written and verbal.
