We are searching for a highly motivated, self-directed LPN to join an innovative and rapidly growing organization.
The ideal candidate would home health and some wound care experience. Also, the candidate must be self-directed and have an ability to provide great customer service with each encounter. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Interpersonal skills is a must for this position. This position is initially only for Ultrasound Therapy that can be administered by a LPN, and we provide all training. Also, the LPN sets up and participates in Telehealth visits. All equipment and training for this is provided.
Pay is based on each patient encounter, this is not an hourly position. LPN's conducting ultrasound therapy typically see 8-10 patients per day. You are paid $35-$38 per visit. The average visit time is 30 minutes. Mileage is paid at the federal rate.
This is a mobile position, which means you are required to visit patients in their home setting.
LPN Job Responsibilities:
- Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.
- Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
- Performs non-contact, non-thermal ultrasound per instructions and under the supervision of a licensed independent practitioner in the State of Arizona
- Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Participates in coordination and execution of telehealth appointments as needed.
- Provides routine wound care for patients.
- Observes patients’ health.
- Reviews and documents in medical charts.
- Assists clinician providers and office staff.
- Communicates with patients and their families.
- Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
- Responsible for medical equipment and supplies.
- Prepares specimens for lab courier.
- Administers medications.
- Provides wound care.
- Assists with patient comfort.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Completion of state approved training program (generally in the form of a diploma, certificate, or associate degree)
- LPN license (pass NCLEX-PN exam)
