Pride Health is hiring Medical Lab Technician V to support our client’s medical facility based in Portland, OR 97213. This is a 6-month Contract job with a possible extension opportunity we are looking for permanent candidates and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Required - ASCP or AMT certified candidates required-

Education requirement: Associates in Medical Lab Technology

NOTE: Generalist lab background or experience


Location: Portland, OR 97213


Job Type: 6+ months initially- W2 contract - with possible extension


Schedule: 11pm-7:30am M-F

ROTATING WEEKEND


Training schedule: M-F 0900 - 1730, transitioning to evenings to work high volume for a couple of weeks and then to nightshift


Vaccine Requirement: Hep B, MMR Vaccine - Declination is only allowed for Hep B

Medical Screening: TB Screen, MMR Screen, Color Vision Screening.




Pay Range: $35-$41/hr

(Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)


Responsibilities:

· Responsibilities are interchangeable within job titles of medical laboratory technician (MLT), medical technologist or clinical laboratory scientist.


. Work environment/department will be listed in requirement. Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.


. Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures. Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.

Qualifications:

  • 7+year BS or MLT.
  • ASCP OR AMT is a must
